Long run this Saturday yay!

Well let's see, I'm being pretty bad and procrastinating getting ready for work. I went for my long run today for my princess training, 8.14miles.
I can honestly say that when I got home I wanted to either curl up into a ball and cry or calmly throw up when I got to the top of the steps to our apartment. Which is kinda funny as I felt perfectly fine during the run. I do honestly love how my body feels during a long run; the tight feeling in my legs, the shortness of breath, and knowing that I can push my body beyond where I had ever believed was possible in the past. I missed the feeling these last couple of weeks. This was my first truly long run in the last month, it's so strange I think I might have let my boss get into my head more than I had originally thought. She kept saying it was bizarre that I would go for any kind of exercise before coming into work, if I ever told her the number of miles I had done or what I was training for I got the look of "you're absolutely nuts" I don't usually like getting that look from people I deal with regularly. Eh whatever, overall at this point I have gone for a run the last four days, and I am hoping that I can begin another running streak. We'll see.
It's amazing the things I notice when I am out for my runs. I took a similar path to what I used to this summer and I just noticed this. I wanted to go inside but the gate was locked and requires a key code to get in. Curiosity is killing me though. I must know what the historic hallam preservation is.

I have finished another leg on the blue bear and hope that I can finish it this weekend. I am also loving my I ♥️Radio app, it allows me to listen to the radio stations from back home, I didn't think that just that one thing could make me feel a little bit better from my homesickness. I'll be honest that is probably one of the main reasons I am running as much as I have since I moved, it makes me feel like I am closer to my parents. Sheesh February can't come soon enough, I miss them like crazy.

Oh on a random note from my run I did beat three of my previous records on my Nike+ app. I beat my fastest 10k,
my longest run,
and my farthest run as well
. So I am really excited about that. I think that is all that I have to say at the moment, I know I said that I would talk about something else in this  post.... But I cannot for the life of me remember what that is.... Hmmm.... Maybe it will come to me later today and I will write it up later. 😉

Luv ya!

Updates and new attempts.

Well I had hoped to get this post up yesterday, but life seemed to get in the way of me talking. This thing called life was simply the fact that I had to go grocery shopping and did not get home until late so no typing was done... I do apologize.

Running Update

My day started yesterday with the good old debate over whether or not I really wished to go for a run. At 830 when I checked the weather channel app and it said 44 degrees I thought that wouldn't be too bad to run in and I set off to get dressed, knowing full well that by the time I was ready to go it should have been about 52 degrees outside the apartment which in my mind should have been basically a cake walk to run in. last year I ran in 13 degree weather back in Colorado. The thing that I had not accounted for with the thoughts of my run was that it was also 85% humidity... this makes things insanely uncomfortable and either hotter or colder than one would expect. To me it almost felt as though it was colder than that day in Colorado, this is insane to me.

I did end up sucking it up and dealing with the unexpected weather, and it turned into a beautiful run. I ended the run at 5.21 miles at a 15'50"/mi pace this is a pretty decent pace for me. While I was originally planning on running 6-8 miles I was unable to get past the pain in my foot from my socks. I had even taken off my shoe twice mid run to adjust it. the problem was that the seam of my sock kept shifting along the side of my toe and wrapping around it cutting off the circulation and causing my toes to go numb. not a good time, I did deal with it for another 3 miles after it started so I guess it wasn't that bad of a time right.

I learned several lessons from these things; first that I need to invest in a couple pairs of warm compression running leggings as well as a new long sleeve full zip shirt to run in (my current pirate princess hooded sweatshirt from Disney is on its last leg) so the next week or so i will be researching cost of these items to add to my wordrobe.

Crochet Update
on the yarny front, I had almost dinished the Blue Bear's body last night, and finished it off this morning.

I really need to learn that things that worked for me when I was in college, or even when I lived out in colorado and worked at perfumania, to get projects done generally do not work out here. I dont have as much time on my lunch break and I do not ride public transport any more so carrying things to work on in my purse isnt really a good idea. it only serves to make the brick on my arm even heavier.

I think that if I work on it while I am at home I might be able to finish the bear and have it put into my etsy store within the next week. Fingers crossed things go well. I am hoping that I can keep up on these blog posts, trying to learn how to blog properly and plan.

ok so

well lets see, today several things have happened... well if you include yesterday which I am for this post. I have a pretty good idea of what I will be getting my bf for his birthday, and I even have someone to help me with it. I started a new Domo-kun this time it will be a necklace knit on size 0 needles. it is the middle of finals week as well and I have to email my capstone professor to find out if the final paper grade is out of 30 or if it is out of 100 cause if it is out of 30 then I got a 72% if out of 100 then eeekkk. anyway I dont know what else to say at the moment time to save for tonight

Finals week

Well it is that time of semester again where everything that we have learned must be regurgitated for the professors to know how much information we have been able to retain in our little heads. While I may love reading with a passion that rivals some of the most daring stunt professionals, I do not enjoy reading about females being assaulted in anyway. And if it's a child it makes me sick. But that was the point to a majority of the books and novels which I read over the course of the semester. Yuck I cannot imagine why these were on the reading list for this class. But I have to finish them. Oh well. I graduate in about 5 days and I cannot wait.

As far as crafting goes I haven't really had all that much time in the last couple weeks to do all that much; however I was able to finish the domo doll that I had been working on for weeks. Although he does not have arms I think he turned out really cute. He is now sitting in my friends house as a gift for her cause she was having a very bad week last week. I also started another domo-kun doll for my little sister this one will have arms and is serving as the base patten making for another one later that might consider selling. I am also knitting up another mini-fied version for a necklace. It is turning out really cute.

On a totally unrelated note, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up and while I do have some ideas for what to give him, I am not sure if they're a good gift for someone I've only been dating for 2 yrs now. Add to that the gift could be considered slightly narcissistic, I mean pictures really? I already have someone lined up to take them but I am having second thoughts at this point, what if he doesn't like them, or they turn out bad. Ugh why do I always over-think things it's insane. Oh well I still have time before I have to worry about his present. About a week actually that isn't all that much time at all is it. Darn it. As soon as my finals are finished I need to get in touch with this guy about the picture taking time frame. And find out how much a book will cost to be printed. Well later all.

well....

I have just about finished the Domo doll. however the plan to sell it has fallen through because I am going to give him to a friend of mine instead. she is having a very hard last 24 hours and I want to give her something soft and squishy. (^_^) all that I need to do is add the teeth and he is done.  I also started on another one with the slightly lighter brown yarn that I had in my stash... and so far it is looking good. I just need to get some more stuffing again because i am totally out.

the oral interviews for my Japanese class were over the last couple days and I am almost positive that I failed that little sucker. I mean I did the math and the lowest I could get was a 2/9 and still pass the class. but I just have this horrid horrible nasty feeling that I got lower than that and I will be screwed when it comes to graduating and continuing with my financial aid. its amazing that there are only 3 more days until finals week. its so unusual to me.

well that is all that I can talk about at the moment. I will try to write more later today when I finish my listening exercises and the rest of my homework... oh and heads up I will be posting finished pictures of the domo doll tonight or early tomorrow morning. as well as progress pictures of the latest one I am working on. well I am off to finish the other half of the listening exercises. later all...

have you ever been annoyed...

with your own work process? I mean I was working on a large tan doll to put the panda hoodie I made on for a photo shoot, and this morning I completely ripped out the leg because the foot was too big for my tastes. they're still doing construction within my one sanctuary on campus, the library. and I cant stand the smell of wet paint. which may explain why my allergies are going nuts today, I spent about an hour in here yesterday taking pictures of the white rabbit. and those pictures really did turn out fantastic even though I only took them with my iPhone here they are today. Sqwee hopefully I can get some critiques of them from the photography group I am in this weekend. I doubt it though they aren't exactly known for being punctual or even logical when it comes to club activities. it actually kind of reminds me of being in middle school clubs again.

I made brownies again last night and they came out of the pan fine but I think that the oven at my apartment may be destined for the scrap heap soon. it is being special as a wonderful idiotic oven. oh well the point is the brownies look moderately worse than the last batch I made a couple weeks ago for valentines day.

today is the 4th kanji quiz of the semester this quiz will also end up including the second half of the last grammar points quiz which I made a lot of stupid mistakes on, and by stupid I mean stupid. like for example if I had read the situation I would have known which verb I needed to use to complete the conversation. ugh...

So Japanese today was a pain that I wish to never experience again. I got so mad that I literally could not see, and that scared the bujezus out of me. I need to learn how to calm down. Well I am off to bed

Sunday, February 12, 2012

well today is the first fill day back from my first weekend home in 2 weeks, and I have to say I really am very refreshed and happy. I posted new drawings and pictures to deviantart, they can be found here, and here, if you have a moral issue with bondage don't look at the second pic. the first is a picture of my Nala this past saturday during the snow storm, and the second is a drawing is a work in progress of a dungeon scene that a friend of mine requested.

knitting wise I am still working on the green sweater, which has now become a sweater set with a skirt, I may end up making the sweater itself a vest instead of a pullover because I have jsut been having all sorts of issues with the sleeves which is unusual, maybe it is the size of he yarn and needles that I chose to use for this project. though I do know how I am going to get the elastic into the skirt and that is with a hair tie... its brilliant, though I do believe that I read about using it before somewhere I can't seem to recall where that was. but whoever thought of it was a genius. ^.^

however at the moment I really should be working on my Japanese homework. while it is interesting it is also quite difficult to do without distractions of the internet. (~.~; ) so I shall be off for the next couple hours. later...

well I have finished Japanese for the day and feel more confused than ever about the class as a whole, the people within it as well as the concepts themselves. oh well, plus side I did my geology homework and got an 80% on it. I am also planning on studying the Japanese Kanji quiz, I just got back, like crazy and retaking it on wednesday to try for a better grade on it, a 63% is not acceptable, especially since she changed the grading scale while she was grading it, if she had left the exam at the 26pts it was originally worth before we took the test I would have gotten a 71% but noooo I cant have that one good grade in the class.... sorry just a little bitter... so anyway, I will be making some more chocolates this afternoon when I get home of the oreo variety, which should be fun. I also have to come onto campus a little later tonight in order to finish my lab report for geology lab, and at that time I probably should also study for the quiz/exam we will be having tomorrow during the class. anyway I am off for the rest of the day.... I soo need to just allot a time during the day to post here, I think I will start doing that tomorrow.

So sick of being the dumb one...

Yep today was a wonderfully super day (dripping sarcasm) now don't get me wrong it started out great, fantastic even. My first decent night sleep in a while, gender in literature was super fun, I even got my new resume typed and printed for the career fair today. And ended up with a lot of decent prospects for work. Then I went for my reading test in Japanese class, reading passages which I knew and understood very well this morning and was set for it, but as soon as I get in front of the teacher I freeze and nothing comes out right at all. Every time it's in front of the teacher my mind goes blank and I can't speak or translate anything. It sucks. but that's not even the worst part, it's like she has to pour lemon juice on a paper cut with how the end of the exam went,
"oh dear, I don't know what to do with you, did you even study?" she asks, "you know you were suppose to be able to translate this."
"yes I studied, I studied for about ten hours this week," I answered.
"did you understand it?"
"yes a little."
"well there is your problem."
well gee thanks ma'am I soo needed you to tell me that when I was already so frustrated with myself that I could not even see straight, let alone think straight. next time why dont you just give me a nice paper cut then pour lemon juice on it. sheesh. well since I have gotten that off my chest I feel better... well that a good cry, and a couple hours of retail therapy to get me back to my old self again. yea I cried what can I say when I am frustrated dont ask me how I am doing or how something went.

needless to say I am tired of being the dumb one who cant get anything right...

so fun weekend...

So this weekend was a lot of fun, though I did jack up my nose (will explain later). anyway on Friday my friend Marina came up from Loveland to hang out and we ended up going to this photography club meeting, which while kinda interesting I was expecting it to be very loosely organized like the Japan club and anime club meetings are, which is to say organized but still fun and slightly chaotic, which for me is how I tend to work. however this meeting was just in general dysfunctional because the "officers" had planned on going out of town to Breckenridge for the weekend, without really looking at the weather. which in turn made the meeting be kinda boring to be honest. now the best part of the evening on Friday is when Marina and I went to Little Ceasers to get some pizza and bread sticks for dinner. It was windy and it was snowing, and when I opened my door to get out and started to step out and stand up, the wind blew the door shut on my nose and slammed the back of my head to the door frame. Now I had never seen stars in my life after getting hit in the face with things, this time I did and it was soo weird. and I had the worst headache all of Saturday afternoon. But I still had a blast with Marina. I helped her with her knitting project, a little stuffed knitted kitten pattern, which she did exactly as described and I had to tinker with the pattern cause I hate working in garter stitch. so mine is a stocking stitch kitten, and I promise to post some pictures of it when I finish it. probably tomorrow.

Saturday morning Marina and I went and did a photo shoot in the freshly fallen snow at my apartment complex. most of the pictures from that I posted on my deviantart.com account but here is one with all of the dolls that I used in it, dolls playing in the snow it was fun and I would love to do it again, though I don't think that there is going to be much more snow this season... with Marina here I was able to figure out just what I need to make wings for the dolls. so the panda suit doll will soon have wings in order to be posted. I also had the idea that I might make some crocheted doll bags, not really sure how that will turn out but I may very well make a prototype for it this weekend. Anyway I will post some pictures of the wings as I have them this far a little later today.

Saturday Marina and I also went to check to see if the new Joann's was open and it was ::::sqweee:::: sorry I have a slight obsession with that store, it is one of the few places where I can go and truly relax without feeling like I am all kinds of out of place. I also found out that they're hiring for a knitting and quilting teachers. so I definitely had to put my hat into the fray. As a result of me calling the number which was provided, I have an interview this evening, to which I need to bring some samples of my work. so I am bringing a couple sweaters, a stuffed toy (which has a hidden pocket), my current lace project, as well as my panda doll, so it should be interesting having someone judge my work and tell me if I am good enough to teach knitting. I am not really sure if I am or not but we shall see. I have taught several people how to knit and crochet in a decent amount of time. but we shall see if I get this job.

I also have to meet with my group in Japanese class today in order to figure out exactly what we are going to do for our group project. I really wanted to do Kachakacha yama. A story about a tanuki, a farmer and his wife, and a rabbit. mostly because it has something to do with the skit we did last semester. but we shall see what we come up with this time around. I also should be getting my kanji quiz back from Friday and I really hope that I did well on it, yet somehow I do not think that it is possible anymore. mostly because I could not figure out the sentences at the end.

on a totally unrelated note I made chocolate covered oreo's last night as part of a valentines day present for my Bf. Instead of watching what I was told after was a horrible performance at the super bowl. He is also getting a bright red kitten with an embroidered heart, a couple different boxes of chocolates (mint, white w/ sprinkles, and pink) an brownies. I am pretty sure that this is all that I will be sending to him as I think that it might end up being a little bit heavier than I was expecting. but I don't really care, I do kinda feel bad for sending him soo many sweets since he doesn't really eat them, but maybe he can share them with his coworkers or something of that sort.
well that is all I have to say at the moment. sad isn't it. later all

so yea... interesting ideas today

today is crazy busy I have so many classes that I have to read and what not for that I cant even think straight half the time, I started reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Hurston this week and I am enjoying it, almost as much as Orlando. Which is odd for me, I need to pick up the audio book format for it so that I can knit or crochet or paint at the same time as I am supposed to be reading for class, because otherwise I will not read because I cant read and do other things at the same time. however this book I am enjoying though I find the discussions in class something to be desired, there is one kid whom I personally think is slightly racist but at the same time it could just be that he is ignorant as well. which on this campus now a days is not hard to believe, I mean they're hosting Ron Paul here today, and everything that I have seen or heard come out of his mouth is racist against someone. not exactly someone who I would want running the government of this country. oh well this is not a political blog by any stretch of the imagination.

an upside-down fluttershy that was
on the plaza this week. cute yes?

enough ranting and raving, over the last couple days on campus there have been several things referencing the new My Little Pony: friendship is magic TV show chalked about the plaza, and to be honest I think it is positively adorable, I will admit that I do like the show and enjoy watching it, but I have never seen anyone other than than a couple people in my Japanese class talk about the show or even express an interest in it at all. which begs the question who could be chalking the plaza with "cutie marks" and other show references? oh well that is a question for another day as well as I wish to post a picture of these markings but a majority have faded away with people walking on them. I wonder if there will be more this week or not. If there are any I will attempt to get proper photographic evidence... well as proper as I can get with my cell phone... wow 2 paragraphs in and I haven't even talked about knittng or any fiber or artsy related things yet today.

well on my hooks are about 3 dolls still in progress a natural creamy colored wool one; a green one, soon to be a frog; and a tan one which is almost finished I just need to get the hair fixed and then it will be on its way to get its picture taken with the others. on the knitting side of things I have a lace shawl and some socks. I am also sewing up another vest for my white rabbit, and I think that I will end up getting that pocket watch from hobby lobby instead of just making a fake chain one that cant be used. I am also making a little mini panda bear and I am going to make it into a backpack charm. not sure if they will sell or not but we shall see. and the tan doll also still needs clothing and a set of wings which I will be making from organza and wire, and possibly some iridescent fabric paint if I can convince my friend Marina to loan me some.

so another week

I cant believe it... it was soo funny....

when I got my Kanji quiz back from my retake and saw the grade (40/40) I am not kidding you but the moment that I looked at it some kid in the hallway's phone started ringing and it was my favorite japanese song.... uber shocked at that, then I got my grammar points quiz back and it was an 13.5/16 that is a 84% super happy about my day's prospects. this could be a good semester after all, knock on wood, if it continues to go this way I may not have any issues with Japanese. on a side note I will try to put up pics of the rest of the dolls that I have done in the last month I just havent really had time on here, they are however on my deviantart.com account which is here http://devilslove666.deviantart.com

Although the tan babydoll that I havent stitched together is the last doll on their has been stitched and is merely waiting to be finished with a panda suit and a wig. As a result she has been patiently waiting in my purse as a search for the proper colors and such to use on her. she may also be the first doll to get wings and an such. I am thinking wire framing with an organza center with painted patterns on them as well, it would have to be an iridescent paint though we shall see.

Yay today

Today I get to retake my kanji quiz and pray that I do well on it. I am going to meet up with Marina after I get home. So I decided to ask to retake tomorrow after class and was given the ok for that. So I am off for an afternoon of frolic and joy that is hanging out with people I don't have to filter my thoughts around. Soo exciting (^.^)

Anyway I shall also be showing marina my dolls that I have finished up to this point. About 15 or so not counting the purple monkey, and black bunny, or frog which isn't really finished yet either. Hoping it doesn't snow tonight cause I soo don't know when I will be heading back up here.

So yea I get the Darwin award today for locking my apartment keys in my bedroom like a blonde idiot. So I called the after-hours manager who was on call tonight and it takes the kid almost an hour to get here from the office with the key, I can walk there and back at my snails pace almost 8 times in that amount of time. Not that I am complaining but if I had locked myself out of the entire apartment I would have frozen my tushy off in that amount of time. Oh well I am in my apartment in my bed all snugg and toasty now. (^_^) goodnight all

Involvement fair

Oh yea I got roped into helping man the japan club booth at this spring's student involvement fair. Soo exciting yet not so much. While it is slightly interesting it is mostly boring. And I haven't even finished my Japanese homework yet either. So I think that I may go to the anime club on campus tomorrow evening cause it looks like fun.

On a fiber related topic I have to redo the head and body portion of the frog doll after I finish the arms because I stuffed the head today only to find that it is bout half the size that it needs to be. Tomorrow I get to hangout with my friend Marina who also does the crafty thing, I might try to convince her to make some unicorn poo cookies... Wish me luck ^.^

On yet another note today I might make brownies for my bf's valentines present with my perfect brownie pan next week. I'll elaborate that idea later.

today is a monday by any and all accounts

not just because it really is a Monday but simply because it is a Monday by all karmic accounts as well. yesterday I forgot my cellphone charger at home and didn't realize it till I was over 2 hours away. I had to spend $20 basically to get a new one, damn apple why must I love your phone. on a side but not unrelated topic I did find a pattern for making wigs for crocheted dolls and I have also started on making the panda suit for a doll that I asked a girl if I could make. I also was able to find the pattern for the lace shawl that I have been working on for a while now however I was only able to knit up about three rows before I realized that I should really have been working on the readings for my Modern Women writers class, as well as my class on gender in literature, however I do have one real gripe about the gender in literature class and that is that it really should not be called such because it really only seems to focus on the female gender throughout literary times. which is slightly irritating because I thought we were going to be looking at gender roles in general throughout literature... my eyeballs seem to want to burn whenever I think about it. however I do enjoy the class in general even if my professor cant seem to stop talking about feminism. which is not all together a horrible topic it is just slightly annoying to be preached to so early in the morning.

I do also believe that today is a day of in class composition in Japanese class, since it is in the lab today, but I should really be getting over there now. I am already really cutting it very close.

Playing with size

Again I have gone crazy over break with nothing to do. So today I went to joann's and bought some size 3 fashion crochet thread. In a dark ocean blue shade, with this thread I proceeded to make a mini doll. It fits in the palm of my hand. Amazingly enough I am still not tired of making these things, though my wrist is tired of using the 2mm hook that I used today.

On a side note I did give my little chow chow a bath today, and oddly enough she actually enjoyed her bath and did not want to get out of the tub. She does enjoy a good blow dry though. (^.^)

Siblings off to school

Today is the first day of the spring semester for my younger siblings. So I get the house to myself again. The only issue that I can see with it is that my sister likes to get up at 430 in the morning. Oh how I am missing my apartment.

I finished the yellow doll yesterday and made it a kitteh, because I have made way too many bunnies in the last couple days. Unfortunately I started on another doll last night and I have a feeling that I won't have enough yarn to make all of the pieces. So maybe making it into a panda bear is the better option. We shall see. I might even make a charm bracelet for myself today or work on my quilt, who knows.

Sadly classes don't start for me until the 17th though I kind of wish they would just start already because I hate this constant waiting, it's enough to drive someone insane.

I have no stuffing

I have no stuffing... I have two totally finished dolls and a cupcake but no stuffing. How does this happen? I mean I went back to my apartment the otherday to pick some things up and I forgot the polyfil stuffing or the dolls. Sheesh it is gonna be one of those weeks.

I think I might also try another 365 project, using the 365 journal ^.^ I will start it in the next couple days if not today

Definitely got some stuffing and finished the white rabbit last night I like how it turned out.

cookies, cleaning, and a cupcake...

Well today was filled with the cleaning of my parents' house, and after that the baking of cookies. We did bring the fake tree up from the basement, which was an ordeal in itself. however it is not up yet. I made ginger-molasses cookies and my mother made spritz cookies. the ginger cookies however did not last till the end of the day, which is sad because I am going to have to bake another batch for when we go up to my aunt's house for Christmas.

I am also a horrible girlfriend as i have not finished his christmas present yet, let alone mailed it out. and this is even after deciding not to send all of it at once. so I'm hoping that I can atleast get it to him by New Year's this year. or I could be a really really horrible girlfriend and make him wait to get it till he comes out to see me for spring break.

Oh yeah I compleatly forgot I passed all my classes this semester and am still in good academic standing, which is great since I want to graduate by the end of summer this year, possibly by the end of July at the earliest which would be fantastic. However I am going to cross that perticular bridge when I come to it since I still haven't told my father about my plans to move out to MD after I finish school to move in with my boyfriend... does anyone else want to have that conversation for me??

oh well, anyway back onto the cupcake. I have been spending the last couple hours working on this massive amigurumi cupcake the bottom of which I just finished. I will post pictures on here when I figure out how to get that done on this desktop which is in serious need of an upgrade, wow I cant stay focused to save my life back to the cupcake, I think I will end up either keeping it or giving it to my aunt when I see her if I finish it in time. however all that I really need to do is the round cake part and frosting. so that shouldnt be too difficult, right? oh well time to get back to work I just thought that I would update this blog since I did update my deviantart.com journal.

Break has begun

this week I will probably be decorating for christmas and cleaning my parents' house since my uncle and his family are coming to colorado in a little over a week... I finished the bunny doll yesterday morning and have pictures just waiting to be posted. I think it looks cute, however I will probably not post the pictures till after Christmas since I dont know if my little sister checks this blog or not. anyway I will be sending out christmas presents for my boyfriend and possibly his parents as well this week and pray that they make it there in time.

tomorrow should be an interesting day as my family is going to my aunt's house in denver to bake cookies. but we probably will not be bringing any back with us afterword.

and we're done...

with the fall 2011 semester. however I am not quite done with school yet which is annoying to me, I still have atleast one semester and summer session to go. but I am in the home stretch which is great. side note my ex's lawyer is a moron if he thinks that I would make a good witness for them. oh well its his funeral. I was also foolish enough to start another doll only chibbi-fied if you will, my regular dolls tend to end up at about 18 inches give or take. I make them with worsted weight yarn and a size G/6 4.25 hook. this one though I am useing size 8 perle cotton and a size 13/14 .9mm hook. the body on my normal doll is about 6" long where as this one is barely an inch in length. and it was a b*tch kitty to stuff after I got it started. I am thinking that the legs will not have the shaping to them that I have made for the normal sized doll cause it would be way to difficult to stuff them that way.

the bunny is basically done I just need to sew on the face and stitch on the ears. instead of a white inner-ear they're baby blue and I think that I will make the face the same color. the monkey has a face and only really needs a tail but I dont know if I will add one at this point since it is so close to christmas and I have to finish the blanket for my boyfriend. maybe i should think my plans though better
