So I know this post was supposed to go live on the 8th, buuuuttttt I decided to spend the weekend with my daughter and fiance and that was more important to me. We actually spent Saturday the 8th in the morning at the cake decorator, and the afternoon at the Denver botanic gardens, and Sunday the 9th we spent the morning at the park and the evening at the fiancee's hockey game. With that said, I will try to catch up within the next couple of days, but here is the post on my guilty pleasures.
I don't think I have very many vices, but one that is socially acceptable would be my slight obsession with coffee and chocolate. My favorite coffee from home would be the Gloria Jean hazelnut flavor for my kurig. outside of the home would be the Caramel macciato from maverick (a gas station) yes I would normally say that I love the Starbucks brulee latte but $4.95 vs. $1.97 I'm going to go with the $1.97 any day. chocolate wise I would say I'm obsessed with Pb M&Ms. I love them a little warm with a hot cup of coffee, absolutely Delicious.
second would be scrapbooking and planning videos on YouTube, I wish my life was as organized as they appear to be. I know I used to plan and I honestly felt like I had a better handle on things but now I don't have time but I know if really tried I would be able to find the time. I do have a planner that I use for memory keeping for my project life and annual albums. Which I will be honest I will probably share the Little's baby album once it is finished but I am not sure if I really should.
Otherwise I think that is about it for my guilty pleasures.

Bit of a random post about hockey nights
So the bf is now no longer playing hockey. Last week one of his team mates texted him asking if he could play out from the goalie position, because they did not appear to have the decency to tell him that they might be getting a second goalie. So now they are going to pay him back for the rest of the season.
But yea I think that was not the best way that it could have been handled better by the team manager, who wasn't even the one who contacted the bf about not playing anymore. I don't know maybe I am just too invested in it. Oh well. Anyway that is it for this post.
Told ya it was random.
Luv ya all!

Am I bad luck? And my fav dress in the golden globes.
OI went to the bf's hockey game last night, for once dressing warm enough to stay inside the rink for the whole game. And he lost. Now this isn't the first time that he has lost a game with me there and He did say it wasn't my fault. But I can't help but wonder, he usually beats the team they played last night without any real issues. And every time they have beat them were on the days I could not make it to the games. Oh well I just like getting to see him play. And on to the very few pictures I took.
Here he is waiting for his teammate to bring his jersey back from the screen printer and watching the end of the Broncos game. For this reason alone I wish we had left the apartment earlier (we no longer get the local CBS station thanks comcast).
A pretty decent shot that I thought was a save and my not have been. But it would have made a very good picture if my phone was faster at focusing.

We got home with enough time to catch the end of the golden globes too. Which was fun. I loved the red dress that Luptia Nyong'o wore, the red looks so amazing on her. And her makeup and hair were so gorgeous, I wish I could pull off such a look.
Anyway that is it for now. Hope you guys have a fun Monday and as always, Luv ya all!

What have I done!
So I am a real genius when I am tired, no one will dispute this, and today I really pulled a number. So for the last couple of weeks (must be near a month now) I have had massive amounts of tooth and jaw pain, which I have held at bay with half doses of Tylenol and Advil here and there. I have found however that the main time I need to take it is first thing in the morning and about an hour and a half before I go to bed. And before I get any questions I have been to see a dentist, and still have to ask for an itemized list of everything they say I need (total after insurance is about $3000) yea I nearly fainted when I got that call.
But anyway the reason for this post is to say this, I have one bag that I keep my first aid items in that always stays in my purse. Today I had to take it out because my schedule states that I take my pain killers at around 8 in the morning. Today that happened to be while I was at work. And as a result my sleep deprived butt forgot to put the bag back in my purse. Now I am the type to always forget something, but I usually remember as I walk to my car. Not today, nope of course not today, and I didn't even remember until I sat down to take the evening pill before the bf's hockey game tonight. This is gonna be fun.
Well I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow, fingers crossed that my honey wins today and is in a good mood tonight.
Right now all I want is sleep but his game doesn't start for another 20 minutes, so I'm looking at not getting home till about midnight. Sorry it looks like all you're getting is the random pain post tonight. Thanks for listening. And as always...
Luv ya all!!

Hockey and hiking.
Ok so I think I figured out what it was that I said I would post about, my boyfriend's hockey game on Tuesday night and the hike we went on on Wednesday afternoon. Let us start with the hockey game, I had aparently not learned my lesson from the last game I had gone to, to dress warm as there are no heat in the stands at the rink. I ended up in just a thin black long sleeved shirt, jeans, and my wool coat. And that is not appropriate attire. Anyway his team ended up letting in 10 goals yet only scored themselves once, but I was told it was against a really good team. But like I said due to my attire I did not see much of the game, but I did get some decent pictures of what I did see.
Yea that last one isn't so hot but hey these are all taken with my phone. My camera I brought died 10 minutes in, sad thing is I did charge it before we left. Oh well. Anyway it was a good time while I was in the rink. Although he does have another game today, I don't think that I will be able to make it. His game starts at 8pm tonight and I have the holiday meeting for work today from 5-730. If it weren't for the fact that my meeting is on the opposite side of town and I have no clue how to get to the rink by myself. We'll see.
It was an area divided up to show children how different things come from and develope in nature. But this did not hold our interest long, I'm sure it would if we had kids but we don't so, yea. We ended taking one of those old fashioned fitness trails that were so big in the early 90's.
So that ment that the "hike" I agreed to turned into a run, in those baggy jeans and white sweater.
It was about a 3/4 of a mile out from the car and back, should have been longer but the trail was blocked off due to them setting up a Christmas display, at the beginning of November.

Then on Wednesday we decided to go for a hike at a park in town, it was a lot of fun. But again my apparel caused us to change plans, jeans and a white sweater are aparently not good things to wear hiking during white tailed deer hunting season. And the park we went to was plastered with bright orange signs saying designated hunting area... So... We ended up wandering around and found this thing for kids, called the nature fun zone.

I mean is it too much to ask for people to let Christmas wait it's turn as a holiday, for thanksgiving and halloween to get their fair share of their months. I mean with how much of the decorations were already up it is a pretty good indication that they had started placing them in mid October. Oh well I'm sure that it would be fun to run the trail when I am actually dressed properly, but that has to wait till I get some pepper spray. Creepy guy asking questions when we were on the way back to the car. I don't know what would have happened without my boyfriend there. Oh well I think that is all I have to talk about today.
Luv ya!

Plans... What plans...
I had big plans for this post yesterday, and I blew it. Wrote it all down even and this morning promptly spilled my breakfast smoothie all over it. Yea it was a rough night last night. My boyfriend had his first hockey game of the season and I had agreed to go. Not knowing much more than that hockey is three periods long and each period is 15 minutes, I figured the game would be over and done with by about 10 pm since it started at 9 and we would be home by about 1030 and sleeping by 11pm... It was over by about 10:15 ish, but what I forgot to take into account was the amount of time it would take the boyfriend to change out of his hockey gear... He is a goalie... Yea needless to say we did not get out of the rink until about 10:50 and home by around 11:15. I love him I really do, but when his adrenaline is high he can either be really excited or flip to crazy pissed off like flipping a light switch. Which is something that I did not know about him until last night.
You see our neighbors who have been informed of the rules of the apartment complex several times, namely just one rule. You are only aloud to have one vehicle parked directly in front of the building per apartment at any givens time. If you have two or more vehicles your second and every one more than that are to be parked around the island in the center of the parking lot in order for each tenant to have a space by their door. Last night after we left for the game she proceeded to move her car down one spot into the space in front of our apartment so that she and her hubby could park next to the building. Now I am not one for confrontation but I will always let the property manager know when these sorts of things happen, simply because of all of the times that I have been singled out in the past at apartments. But my boyfriend on the other hand is more than willing to handle things his own way. And I don't know if any amount of reasoning will change that fact. Anyway point of the story is that he can go from being insanely happy about winning his game 6-3 to throwing his gear around like he lost in a matter of minutes and it kind of worries me.
Wow sorry I just went crazy with the over-share there. Anyway I don't know if I will keep this post up too long but I just needed to write down my thoughts on the whole end of the evening. I will probably post a nicely written day in my life post including pictures from the game when I pull out my laptop in a little bit, but I am still trying to warm up again after my run this morning. More on that in the same post. Thanks for listening.
