Hockey and hiking.

Ok so I think I figured out what it was that I said I would post about, my boyfriend's hockey game on Tuesday night and the hike we went on on Wednesday afternoon. Let us start with the hockey game, I had aparently not learned my lesson from the last game I had gone to, to dress warm as there are no heat in the stands at the rink. I ended up in just a thin black long sleeved shirt, jeans, and my wool coat. And that is not appropriate attire. Anyway his team ended up letting in 10 goals yet only scored themselves once, but I was told it was against a really good team. But like I said due to my attire I did not see much of the game, but I did get some decent pictures of what I did see.
Yea that last one isn't so hot but hey these are all taken with my phone. My camera I brought died 10 minutes in, sad thing is I did charge it before we left. Oh well. Anyway it was a good time while I was in the rink. Although he does have another game today, I don't think that I will be able to make it. His game starts at 8pm tonight and I have the holiday meeting for work today from 5-730. If it weren't for the fact that my meeting is on the opposite side of town and I have no clue how to get to the rink by myself. We'll see.

Then on Wednesday we decided to go for a hike at a park in town, it was a lot of fun. But again my apparel caused us to change plans, jeans and a white sweater are aparently not good things to wear hiking during white tailed deer hunting season. And the park we went to was plastered with bright orange signs saying designated hunting area... So... We ended up wandering around and found this thing for kids, called the nature fun zone.
It was an area divided up to show children how different things come from and develope in nature. But this did not hold our interest long, I'm sure it would if we had kids but we don't so, yea. We ended taking one of those old fashioned fitness trails that were so big in the early 90's.
So that ment that the "hike" I agreed to turned into a run, in those baggy jeans and white sweater.
It was about a 3/4 of a mile out from the car and back, should have been longer but the trail was blocked off due to them setting up a Christmas display, at the beginning of November.

I mean is it too much to ask for people to let Christmas wait it's turn as a holiday, for thanksgiving and halloween to get their fair share of their months. I mean with how much of the decorations were already up it is a pretty good indication that they had started placing them in mid October. Oh well I'm sure that it would be fun to run the trail when I am actually dressed properly, but that has to wait till I get some pepper spray. Creepy guy asking questions when we were on the way back to the car. I don't know what would have happened without my boyfriend there. Oh well I think that is all I have to talk about today.

Luv ya!
