Finals week

Well it is that time of semester again where everything that we have learned must be regurgitated for the professors to know how much information we have been able to retain in our little heads. While I may love reading with a passion that rivals some of the most daring stunt professionals, I do not enjoy reading about females being assaulted in anyway. And if it's a child it makes me sick. But that was the point to a majority of the books and novels which I read over the course of the semester. Yuck I cannot imagine why these were on the reading list for this class. But I have to finish them. Oh well. I graduate in about 5 days and I cannot wait.

As far as crafting goes I haven't really had all that much time in the last couple weeks to do all that much; however I was able to finish the domo doll that I had been working on for weeks. Although he does not have arms I think he turned out really cute. He is now sitting in my friends house as a gift for her cause she was having a very bad week last week. I also started another domo-kun doll for my little sister this one will have arms and is serving as the base patten making for another one later that might consider selling. I am also knitting up another mini-fied version for a necklace. It is turning out really cute.

On a totally unrelated note, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up and while I do have some ideas for what to give him, I am not sure if they're a good gift for someone I've only been dating for 2 yrs now. Add to that the gift could be considered slightly narcissistic, I mean pictures really? I already have someone lined up to take them but I am having second thoughts at this point, what if he doesn't like them, or they turn out bad. Ugh why do I always over-think things it's insane. Oh well I still have time before I have to worry about his present. About a week actually that isn't all that much time at all is it. Darn it. As soon as my finals are finished I need to get in touch with this guy about the picture taking time frame. And find out how much a book will cost to be printed. Well later all.
