an upside-down fluttershy that was on the plaza this week. cute yes? |
enough ranting and raving, over the last couple days on campus there have been several things referencing the new My Little Pony: friendship is magic TV show chalked about the plaza, and to be honest I think it is positively adorable, I will admit that I do like the show and enjoy watching it, but I have never seen anyone other than than a couple people in my Japanese class talk about the show or even express an interest in it at all. which begs the question who could be chalking the plaza with "cutie marks" and other show references? oh well that is a question for another day as well as I wish to post a picture of these markings but a majority have faded away with people walking on them. I wonder if there will be more this week or not. If there are any I will attempt to get proper photographic evidence... well as proper as I can get with my cell phone... wow 2 paragraphs in and I haven't even talked about knittng or any fiber or artsy related things yet today.
well on my hooks are about 3 dolls still in progress a natural creamy colored wool one; a green one, soon to be a frog; and a tan one which is almost finished I just need to get the hair fixed and then it will be on its way to get its picture taken with the others. on the knitting side of things I have a lace shawl and some socks. I am also sewing up another vest for my white rabbit, and I think that I will end up getting that pocket watch from hobby lobby instead of just making a fake chain one that cant be used. I am also making a little mini panda bear and I am going to make it into a backpack charm. not sure if they will sell or not but we shall see. and the tan doll also still needs clothing and a set of wings which I will be making from organza and wire, and possibly some iridescent fabric paint if I can convince my friend Marina to loan me some.
