Book review: Shadow and Bone

This book was an amazingly fast read. I picked it up a couple weeks ago in the bargin books section of Books A Million, my local book store. This book follows the life of a young girl who grew up as an orphan. It is a fantasy novel, similar to the Green Rider series by Kristin Britain, or atleast it seems that way to me. 

I do intend to read the second book, but I do have a bit of a long to be read list at this point in time. So I will be picking that up in the next couple weeks. 

Would I recommend this book, possibly if you want a book that will take a bit of time to read, no I wouldn't. But if you want a really fast read, or if you are a young teen, yes I would recommend this book for you.
