Baking: fudge fail! Almost.

Well I can honestly say that I have never messed up on such an amazingly simple recipe in my life. Let me have a little exposition here and give you a bit of a back story on this escapade. Last week exactly I thought to myself, hey I'm craving some chocolate, so I gave the bf some options for what I could make. The choices, mocha cupcakes or some simple chocolate fudge, I guess you can tell from the title what he picked. 

Now can I just say the epic ness of this almost fail is not entirely my fault, the recipe called for a can of evaporated milk or 5 oz. now it called for the store brand and I assumed that the store brand would only be sold in that size. But that would not be economical I suppose. So anyway this is what the epic fail looked like before the fix. 

Way too much evaporated milk. Anyway my mother gave me a quick semi fix, I measured out 2/3 of a cup of this mix 

And added a bit more sugar to compensate, and it turned out pretty good. It took a bit longer than normal to set up, I even had it in the fridge for a couple hours. 

 Over all it was delicious and was gone by the end of the week.
