Book review: Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children

Well I am hoping to finally get back to writing my book reviews again, and while I know this one has been out for a while (I got it on my nook when it came out) and I have even read it before. I wanted to re-read it and review it before I got into the sequal.

This is the story how of Jacob Portman came to understand his grandfather Abraham better after his death. To avoid giving away any of the plot, I won't tell you too much, just that it is a dark story somewhat set in the past (world war 2 era) as well as the present.

Needless to say I absolutely adored this book the first time I read it and even having read it again I still get slightly scared at certain points in the story.

I would most definately recommend this book to anyone over the age of about 8 yrs old. Just for the grim and gore in some points. Although I suppose it isn't really any worse than Harry potter.

Hope you all are having a great day. And as always Luv Ya All!
