Today was a workout on the treadmill followed by a quick mile walk outside to the Christmas Bazaar at the church down the street. The signs for this fair did get me started on the thought process of getting into the fair scene out here, or atleast making the attempt.
I will be honest though I didn't make it to the fair at the start, it opened at 8am, I wasn't even out for my gym workout before 9am, and went on until 1pm. And I will be honest I wasn't all that impressed. I would have taken pictures inside if I didn't feel so awkward doing so. There were maybe a total of 2 craft/ homemade items sellers and the rest of the 8-10 tables were sales consultants for brand name items (Mary Kay, scentsy, etc.) I was expecting this to be more like a real holiday bazaar where the things being sold have a holiday theme or are at the very least handmade. Sigh it's times like these that I know the crafty marketing of Colorado has spoiled me.
But this makes me think that it would be much easier to get my foot in the door, so to speak, out here in the craft fair community. We shall see though.
If any of you know of craft fairs or bazaars that are good to check out this time of year please let me know. I still have a lot of Christmas shopping to do.
As always luv ya all!
