Halloween decoration.

Well today I think I will be discussing not only my day but also the fall/Halloween decorations I have added to my apartment in the last couple of weeks. The decorating started not too long after we moved into this apartment. My mother being one of the main enablers of this slight hoarding, a fact that my boyfriend does not perticularly care for. The first item was the candy bowl from the boney bunch collection last year. I'll be honest I convinced her to get it as the free gift with purchase at the Yankee candle store at the promanade shops in Briargate, colorado. My mother knows me really well and knew how long I had been collecting Halloween decorations for my apartment, only to move across the country when I finally get my own place (had to leave all of my decorations in storage out in colorado.) it was a sad day. But this little guy I believe was a limited edition in store only purchase.
He's sitting up in the corner of the cabinets because we have no real shelves in the apartment right now, and I can't reach that high to take a proper picture.
They have new ones that are actually 25% off right now on the Yankee candle website. While right now he sits empty I was planning on filling the bowl with cookies and candies for our Halloween party this year. Unfortunately it is looking like we will have to cancel it because I am the only person at my job who does not have kids and therefore I get to work the Halloween trick or treat at the store. The one drawback to working in a maternity store. We might still have a small party before or after Halloween I am not entirely sure yet, but we will probably wait until next year when I make more friends out here.

My mother however has been extremely generous lately with gifts of decorations. Earlier this month I received a haunted house cookie jar from her that she got from the home shopping network. It is absolutely adorable and even glows in the dark. Right now it is just sitting on the island in the kitchen until we get some shelves to organize the apartment a little more. When we do I will be putting this little guy on display a little more prominently. It is a David's Cookies cookie jar and at the moment I think it is sold out on the hsn website. (Please excuse the messy counter in the background)
my mother also picked me up another cookie jar from the same place I think even at thesame time. It is a set of three cookie jars that form the word "Boo" it is really cute. They are sitting on the window sill.
All of these things have been adding to moderate irritation for my boyfriend, who does not want me decorating the apartment. This is all because we plan on moving again in April, however at the moment I am leaning more toward staying here another couple years. I mean is it so much to ask to not have to pack up all of my belongings every year, to just want a couple of years peace on that. I'm not in college any more and I should not be expected to move every twelve months. Funny  thing is he is the one who had me buy these spider web lights from target.
While I am not sure if we will use them this year, he would like us to so I didn't waste the money. But as I said before we probably will not be having a party this year because of work.

On a happier note, I am going to be attempting to work out a blogging schedule. I plan on trying to focus more in depth on the some entries as opposed to a diary format type writing. I believe I will be doing weekly running updates as well as weekly updates on my yarny attributions... We shall see if I can find a way to work out a specific format in the next couple weeks. I have also started to read more novels again, which is actually kind of fun. I think I picked a good one to start with, Ender's Game. I will probably post something when I finish it but I don't know just yet. If it is preferred that I stay how I am currently writing just let me know. Well we shall see if I get any feed back on this. Although I do like the idea of changing things around a bit. Simply go see if it will help we my organization skills... Well later tomorrow.

Luv ya all
