Knitting:
baby shower gift finished it today, 2/27/15 yep just under the wire for this one as the baby shower is tomorrow afternoon. But to be completely honest as I am writing this I do still have to finish about half of the bind off and weave in the ends, but I should be finished completely before I go to bed tonight. I am excited for the mom to see this peice, I did get a couple of things to go with it
This project took the amount of time it did just because I was not feeling staying at home all day.
WIP Crochet:
I am still working on my granny square blanket, the first blanket I have made for myself and my boyfriend. However I seem to always put personal projects on the back burner, so to speak when something comes up. I would post a photo but it really is the same amount of progress as there was last update.
Planned:
1. I have some yarn left over from the baby blanket so I told the Mom-to-be that I could make some baby booties for her in those colors if she would like.
2. My best friend also asked me to make her a couple pairs of booties for her to give a friend at a baby shower, right now this is just in the pricing out phase of the planning process. And I am excited for this as well, it is a color scheme that I am not used to for baby projects by any means... She wants a deep red/wine shade, I really cannot wait to work on this for her.
Well I think that is it for this update post, hopefully I will has more to share with you for the next one, should these be monthly or bimonthly posts? I am still deciding on that let me know what you think.
