Little rant, and fun

I'm sorry I have been a neglectful blogger again due to this full time job and the holiday season being upon us. But these last couple of weeks have been so crazy. I had intense training and now I have been getting used to a new route to get to and from work every day, which is crazy. 

I don't know if I told you all that I was invited to an old co-worker's baby shower this month, and while unfortunately I was unable to attend I did make her a dress for the baby. It is really cute a soft dove gray knit with cotton candy pink flowers on it, I will post the picture when I find my camera. I plan on giving it to her in the next couple of days when I have a chance to get to that mall again. I might also add a baby blanket or one of the crocheted dolls I have on hand. Not sure on that though, we'll see. 

This was the start of today's craziness but it ended in an uneventful manner. 

Work wise, I helped with a bit of a massive ad change over for our Black Friday sale. Which meant staying at work until 10:40 this evening to get it ready for when the doors open up tomorrow at 6pm. Can someone explain that logic to me? Why is it so inportant to shop earlier and earlier on thanksgiving weekend? Now people can't even have their dinners at dinner-time, there are actually places opening up at 3-4pm on thanksgiving day; I find it discusting. And the fact that one of my new co-workers is going to support it is even more disturbing to me. But that is a soap box for another time. This is supposed to be a happy time of year.
