Yup we're going with a date for today's title, I can't think if anything and I don't really want to either. So today was actually kind of interesting; woke up late, had McD's for breakfast (I don't reccomomend), and was off to get the inspection and emissions tests done for Bertha (my 2006 Chrysler town and country). Yes I hate to admit it, but it is high time that I do, I drive a Mommy van (even though I have no kids) and while I do miss my sporty little Mark 8 (I'll always have the memories of getting stranded places) and Bertha has been good to me this last year and 4 months. However, today that all changed, for you see a simple emissions and inspection should have only cost me $50 for the mechanic to check things out and give me the stickers has now turned into a $376 affair with the tie rods needing to be changed and a tire alignment before I can get my inspection sticker put on my car. On a side note does anyone out there know what tie rods are? Cause I do not, and I certainly do not see how one can cost nearly a third of my paycheck. Which unfortunately I need two of them, and when they are replaced I need a tire alignment as well.

Ugh, atleast now we have a bed, which needs to be put together before we can sleep tonight. Oh well wish me luck I will show you all a picture of it if it when we get it together. 

On a totally unrelated note, I finally got the skirt portion of that baby dress for my co-worker done. Now I just need to split off the yarn and start the yoke, fingers crossed it turns out alright. And where did I find the time to work on it you may ask? Why I was working away diligently whilst I was waiting for Bertha to be finished with her appointment.

Now I am off to start the yoke and make the boyfriend some sweet iced tea while he puts together the bed. Have a great day!
