Little bit of new clothes

A new job requires a new wordrobe, and I have a new job I am starting soon and have bought a couple of things to help with that process. Today I want to share with you the lovelies I picked up in the last couple of weeks. I have also been trying things on like crazy and would like to know what you all think of them. While at the moment wallet damage has only really been made at two stores, Maurises and Pac Sun. However try-ons were done at Deb, forever 21. Anyway, on to the try-on.

Starting with Deb I found a wonderful top and jean combo I loved
These skinny jeans/jegging were $30 and a size 18 regular the length and fit was amazing unfortunately the top I picked to go with them was too small and a 2X which depressed me a great deal.
Here is the top on another day in a 3X and I love the fit of the bodice portion however the sleeves are way too long.
I really am into sweaters at the moment as well and I love the lace hem on this one.
This I love but as I do not have a bra that would work with it right now I decided not to get it.

Second stop was at Forever 21, I was killing time before work the other day right after finding out about my new job, which I will let you all know about that when I start. But anyway one of the main perks is that I can wear casual and colorful clothes which resulted in me trying this top on.
I know it is a crap-tacular blurry mess but it is a muted dusty teal color with lacey cable work. I love the feel of it and it is a size large! Yes a size large, I know this sweater is supposed to be a slouchy baggy sweater but I love how it fits me. And at $17.90 I really should have picked it up. But I did talk myself out of it because I couldn't decide if I actually liked it or if I only liked it because I am allowed to wear color. Live and learn right?

So on to the items purchased, from maurices I picked up two tops.
This adorable sweater, it zips up the back. I really like it a lot.
this top as well the flannel is so soft and I love the fit of it and cannot wait to wear it.

And lastly from Pac Sun, my lovely boyfriend picked this skirt up for me.
I love it unfortunately I don't think I will be able to wear it for a couple of weeks, it is a wee bit on the small side. There was a funny time with that skirt at the time they were having a buy two get three free sale. The only part that stunk was we were only able to find that one skirt.

Well that is all that I have gotten in the last couple of weeks, I figure I still have a bit of things I should probably pick up in the next couple weeks before I start my new job.

QOTD: what do you all like to wear in the fall/early winter seasons?
