Crafty update: baby dress!

Yep I am knitting again, I can't believe I stopped for so long. I keep forgetting how these sorts of things help me sort my mind out. So today's post is about a small portion of a baby shower gift for my co-worker. So far I am a couple of inches up the skirt portion of the dress. I am working with a yarn I picked up in micheals crafts,

I had my co-worker pick out the colors for the dress and she chose a medium grey with cotton candy pink colored flowers. While I work on this I have been watching YouTube and listening to music. While when I was knitting and crocheting this time last year I would do it while watching tv. While it is something I kind of miss but we haven't had cable in a good long while, since comcast encrypted the free tv out here. And I refuse to pay $30/mo for basic cable. But that is enough of that rant. 

Anyway, back to the crafty update, instead of a medium charcoal grey I chose to make the dress in a dove grey and will be knitting up a stuffed bunny from the same pattern collection in the exact colors she had wanted.
