Something's I don't understand...

As far as jobs and interviewing and such. I will be honest, I have been looking for a second/full-time job for a while now. And this is the second time that this situation has happened to me in the last 3 months. First, why lie to my face and the face of everyone else when you post a job that isn't actually available? And at that have said job posted for more than a month in the store no less. If you know me personally you will know which places  I am talking about here. 

Second, why if something comes up on a corporate level, would you not call the person you are interviewing to reschedule? All that you are doing with a shortened interview is wasting your time and theirs because you will not get a full idea of whether or not their personality would be a good fit for your company. And while this has only happened to me once it happened with a company I had interviewed with before and had an amazing interview with, but maybe that was because the first time I interviewed the manager it was with was much more professional. But hey that's just me. Lastly, if someone comes into your store several times to see what is up with the process, please do not lie and say that you will follow up with the manager who had their last day a week prior. Now maybe I am taking these things a little personally but I don't like having my time wasted and I do not like wasting the time of others.
