Week in running 2/24/14-3/2/14

Yea I was gonna do a Sunday to Sunday running update post, but I did that long post on my partaking in the Disney Princess 1/2 earlier this week you can find it in the post directly before this one. 

This week I have been pretty lazy with my running. Only two days, yesterday and today. Pathetic I know, but I was recovering (or at least that was my excuse) I did notice that I was getting anxious and cranky a bit more this week. Even with the manual labor required in shutting down a store, (more on that later). But on to the workouts...

Saturday: I had planned on doing 3-4 miles, alternating between walking and running. But the crazy cold definitely cut that down to 2.14miles. While I loved the race last weekend, I don't recommend running outside in 25 degree weather as your first run back from 85 degree weather. I really should have done this run on the treadmill. I mean there was still tons of snow on the ground. 
No kids were even out playing. And the worst part, I think that there was a squirrel who either froze to death or was electrocuted. It was a sad run all around. 

Sunday: treadmill run of 2.38miles and another 2.3 miles on the elliptical trainer. I am so out of shape it isn't even funny. I have set up a running schedule for myself and hope to be able to stick to it this month even with work being so random. Well that is it for this post.
