Ipsy first impression: March

So I have been a subscriber to the ipsy/glam bag for almost a year now, and most of the bags have fit me pretty well. But I have never talked about them on here, I have shown them in my instagram account though. And I think I have had a long enough tangent and should get back onto the topic of this post, the March 2014 ipsy bag.

The bag:
the bag itself this month does not impress me too much, it is made of what appears to be oil cloth. Which would make it pretty water resistant, and they even used the artwork from an interesting artist on the bag. If I was into modern looking art I might be more impressed with this, but it just looks like gummy candies to me and slightly childish.

The products: usually you would get 5 items, however this month it was 4, not an issue to be honest because I love just about everything I got.
The Pacifica body butter smells fantastic and reminds me of when I lived on Guam and could get coconut candy whenever I wanted.

The second item I pulled out of my bag was an eyeshadow quad from be a bombshell in bora bora.
I love the colors in this quad but wonder why they are in a spring break themed bag
They're definately more summery to me and will probably wait until then to use them.

Next was probably the thing I was most excited to see, the mini moxie lipstick from bare essentials.
I absolutely love the shade I recived
And have already used it a couple times. The texture is amazing and honestly I am not surprised by that. I love the brand and have used them for years.

Last was a bb cream
which is about 2 shades too dark for me at this point.
I might use it this summer but honestly I think it might be too orange for my skin tone any time of year. On trying it out for the swatches today, I don't think I will ever use this bb cream. It has a slight fragrence to it, and I cannot stand perfumed foundations. Just because I like to be able to smell the perfume I put on for the day. So sadness.

Over all thoughts: over all having 3/4 products I love isn't too bad and I know I will use them. So I am happy with this months bag.
