Mall closed. More randomness

So I forgot to mention yesterday in my post, the mall I work at closed super early 1 pm. This apparently never happens and I think only happened because the major highways closed down with accidents yesterday afternoon. With that said I am grateful because I will still get paid for my entire shift. Then when I got home my super sweet bf had the counter cleaned off so that we could finally make the gingerbread house he got me for Christmas. Unfortunately my super sick sense of humor came into play and this was the result. 

 My psycopathic gingerbread man fell over and kind of had to have his legs amputated... It was delicious. And yes I know I still have some of my halloween decorations out. But hey I love that cookie jar, and I will keep it out as long as I want to (or until the bf gets sick of seeing it). 

But I am realizing if I was still in school I would be studying for midterms right now. Which I am seeing a lot of Facebook status updates from my friends who still are, my heart goes out to them. And as much as I hated exams I do still miss school, just having a daily schedule that never changed was the best.

Well I should cut these brownies,

they are so good, it is a Paula Deen recipe and is super decadent. Let me know if you want me to do a post on how I make this recipe. I think next time I might put a double batch of brownie batter if I use these chocolate bars again. The brownie itself isn't really as thick as I would like it to be.
