Crafty updates

Yay I am so excited to start this series of posts this year. Every other week I will be posting what I have completed crafting wise. And this being the first post of the year is full of promise for me. :sqee: so on to the actual post. I think I might be doing a sort of as I complete things add them in with the date that they were completed. Might change that but right now that is where I am at on the thoughts.

1/4/14
So as of right now this very instant I have a total of 3 projects in the works. Domo-kun, the blue bear, and a yellow sundress for the frankendolly. I feel like she needs a dress to help cover up her little issues. That being said here is a current picture of domo
The gusset might be too long so I can pull it out and use the excess yarn to seam up the other side. But he should be totally done and stuffed tonight, so that tomorrow I can bring a different project to  work with me for the next few days.

1/5/14

So last night I definitely did not finish the domo doll even though all I have left is stuffing and seaming... I don't know why either, it might be because he was just chilling in my purse and I never pulled him out. It could have also been because I was just irritated  with things in general last night as well.

ETA: I did finish and stuff him before I left for work

unfortunately I did not get the face cut out or sewn on. That will be done tomorrow, hopefully before I post this. See you tomorrow

So the original plan was to be finished with this doll and well on my way to finishing the blue bear as well for this post today... But here is where I am at this particular junction of 9:49 am.
I am stitching the teeth onto the mouth of the domo doll with the tiniest little blanket stitches. I really need to pick up some actual embroidery needles for this. But I am almost done stitching on the top teeth, then it will be time for the bottom teeth. Followed by the eyes. Yay! I am so close to done I can almost taste it.

ETA: 12:39pm finished stitching the colors of the face together before my run and even started to stitch the mouth to the doll itself.
I'm kind of excited for how this is turning out.

ETA: 2:00pm
All finished. Everything is sewn on and he is looking adorable, if I do say so myself.
Proper pictures of him coming soon. I just really want to get to work on something else for the day. Maybe finish my book. Hmmm hope you enjoyed this lovely post with me. Come back again soon.

Luv ya all!
