Book Review... Maybe not.

So my original plan for today's review was to have finished Quiet by Susan Cain. I even had my bf drive all day today for the express purpose of having the ability to read... That being said I didn't read a single word from that book today, not sure on why as I did bring it with me all day. I guess I just wanted to enjoy the time with him today. So with that I guess the book review post is gonna wait until this weekend like just about everything else today.

We did go to look at super nice apartment today though, the cariage works apartments in York.
I mean it had pretty much everything I could ask for, loft style apartments, open kitchen living room floor plan, big bedrooms, nice big bathroom. Even the shared amenities were amazing, the community room was huge, it had a business center, a fitness center, and a cute little play ground if the bf and I have kids. It even had amazing security, keyless entry (have to have a keyfob to get in or be buzzed in), they also require a credit and criminal background check with the application fee. Now all of these things I absolutely love... The only thing that I have issues with, well one of the things that I have issues with, is that this apartment complex is income based. Now I don't so much have an issue with income based housing, far from it, as most places that I have looked at in the past it was simply a minimum amount you have to make in order to live in them. This apartment however, placed a max amount of income that you can make as a household in order to live in the building. And my bf and I actually almost make too much money to live in this building with the income cap. And in my mind with all do respect that is so jacked up. Oh well on to the next I suppose.

After the failed apartment visit, we had a late lunch/early dinner at this super amazing BBQ place.
Mission BBQ, if you live in York, PA or pretty much anywhere near one of their restaurants, you have to try it. I got the brisket sandwich and the bf got the chopped brisket sandwich, both of these were absolutely amazing, even with the outrageous pricing (you get a lot for your money though). I don't have a picture of the sandwiches as we were both really hungry and I just wanted to eat. We did decide that we would go back once a month or once every other month as kind of a date type thingy. Oh and I forgot to mention they do cater
and offer their BBQ for sale at a meat market style pricing (per lb pricing). That being said we will probably pick that up as a meal for those who help us move in April.

Not bad for a day that started out as just a plain old pancakes kinda day.

Well that is it for tonight hope you all have a wonderful day

ETA: On a more literary note, there is one book that I am super excited for this month, it is Hollow City by Ransom Riggs. I have been excited for this sequal to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and waiting for its release for almost a year since I found out. That is all I have to say on that.

Luv ya all!
