I know it has been quite some time since my last post, I have just had a really eventful week and haven't had time to pre-write my posts like I have been doing. This is currently being pulled right out of my head as I type. Anyway, what did I leave off on last week, the crochet update and venting about my job... Hmm the venting thing isn't really super professional so I might remove it this week I'm not sure though. Anyway I know I haven't talked about last Tuesday, Wednesday and the rest of the week so here we go.
Tuesday:
Was pretty uneventful Dale and I just spent the time relaxing at home, as when our days off (or weekends as he puts them) come around we aphave usually spent a majority of our paychecks and can't really go anywhere. So we stayed home I took the day off from my running to let my legs recover and what not, and we watched Coroline. This is one of my favorite movies and I was quite happy he wanted to watch it with me that afternoon. Although the reason for movie watching was because Comcast decided that there would be no more "free" digital cable and scrambled our local cable channels. I am really not sure how legal that is but hey I can't get the BBB website to work. I know the only reason they scrambled ours is because we have comcast internet and therefore they can turn that on and off as well. But anyway I kind of feel like a whining child who is crying cause they didn't get their way. Oh well right. On to Wednesday,
Wednesday:
Now this was amazingly fun, Dale's family bought us tickets to go on a train ride from New Freedom, PA to I think Hanover, PA. It was on a restored train that I believe they had said lincolin had ridden on to Ghettysberg. It was a beautiful train. And they even had actors dressed in period clothing as well. Once we had gotten to the destination stop there was a reinactment photo shoot for I think the day that Lincolin stepped off the train. And by reinactment I mean they went all out and got an old fashioned tintypist photographer and such, as a result it took a lot longer than the original 20 minutes we were told it would take for the stop at that train station. But it was so much fun I got quite a few pictures from the train ride and such, not as many from the stop as my hands had started to freeze. We did end the ride back in New Freedom where we had dinner at a lovely little Italian restaurant. I had the buffalo chicken sub sandwich and it was quite delicious.
The rest of the week was pretty uneventful, just work and what not opening so I wasn't really able to get out for my runs in the morning. I did however get quite a bit of progress done on the blue bear and my new project. Tomorrow I will be working on the arms of the blue bear and the gusset of the new project. Fingers crossed I can do it. Anyway I am off to go call my insurance providers to figure out what dentist I should go to out here and find a doctor as well. Sigh been in super unimaginable amounts of pain from one tooth since Saturday morning. Ugh! Well it's time for more Tylenol and some breakfast. Talk to you all later today, I hope to post a training update tonight.
