Project life baby book

So as I had posted in the past, not long after our little was born, I had started putting it together before the move in July of last year. I had a couple months where I was unable to work on it as the tote with the album and it photos had accidentally ended up in the back of our storage unit. However I was able to finally start work on it after we moved into the new house (after I was able to find the book and all the fixings anyway).

Here are a couple of the pages I have finished in the last couple of weeks. One using the actual project life layout the others are playing around with traditional scrapbook layouts. I also Have a couple of project life layouts I built in their app as well that I am waiting on to print. I think Im just going to wait until I have maybe 4-5 done on there before I order the prints. I will let ya'll know how I like it once I do.
While I do like the simplicity of the project life style, I am not a fan of how the cards and photos always seem to slip out of the pockets. I have found that I have to add embellishments to the photos and the journalling cards in order to fill the pockets enough that they do not slip out. These first two pages are from when she turned 9 months old on April 11, 2017.

The third page is from her first Christmas morning and Christmas eve. I am really loving the process of creating these layouts, and almost find it just as relaxing as knitting and crochet were for me. I really wish I had time to do both of those things, however I have not been able to really find the motivation to spend hours on end working on blankets or shawls. while this creative outlet has offered me nearly instant gratification and don't take up nearly the same amount of space.  Most of the paper and such are from Hobby Lobby (always love their sales) and what not.

Well that is pretty much all I have to say for now, I'm going to get back to my scrapbooks. wish me luck.
