Training week... Crazy real

Monday: well today it is t-minus 20 days and counting till the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon, and stuff is getting crazy real. I wasn't planning on running today, because I over slept and I was scheduled to work today. This is what I woke up to
Yup mad snow. So I nixed running outside rolled over and went back to sleep. While I went to get ready for work the bf cleaned off my car,
Yup he is a sweetie. But needless to say the mall said at 1ish that they were closing at 4 pm. So at 250 today I am in the gym.

Tuesday: I had a neurologist appt in the morning, so I couldn't get my workout in first thing. Then the bf and I went apartment hunting, so this day was a bust.

Wednesday: not really sure what happened here, I closed at work so I should have had time to workout in the morning... But I think it was what usually happens when the bf and I are off the same day, just plain laziness. I did get some bodyweight strength training in at work though.

Thursday: now the plan was to do some bodyweight exercises at work, then go to the gym when I got home. Did it happen? Not really, I did get the bodyweight exercises in, but traded the gym for my knit-Olympics project ( turns out this year the Olympic activities started before the opening ceremony odd right?).

Friday: opened the store, was scheduled to leave at 330pm. Boss was a bit of a pisser, but I won't go into that here. No run this day though, for the same reason as Thursday.

Saturday: felt really good this day and got a 5.36 mi run in on the treadmill. Planned 12 but it was too crowded in the gym.

Sunday: planned on five miles outside and to get something like 8-9 in the gym for a total of 14mi. But gave up outside cause of things like this
And this
It was a screaming death trap outside 6 days after the last snow storm. People don't believe in shoveling their sidewalks. And that truely sucks because even with my new amazing shoes, which help me not slip, I still felt like I was gonna face plant it every 50 yrds.

So you know what I did, I took my butt home at 1.5 ish miles. And ended up doing level 1 of the 30 day shred by Jillian Micheals, on YouTube. It was crazy brutal and I am so sore from it as I am typing this out, but I love the burn.

So I guess it wasn't so bad, I did see some creative things on my run like a couple ice men
And
Cute right? I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is always something I can do if my running plans fall through and I should always try to see the bright side.

Well I gotta finish this workout, as always Liv ya!
