Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you all are having a wonderful day, whether you are single or in a relationship. Either way you have someone to love and give happiness to, even if it's just you. Normally today would just be a happy at home spa day, after work of course. I was always the only one where ever I worked who did not have a "valentine" and it always worked for me. 

This year, good bad or ugly I do have a valentine, and while we won't be going out for a date night, we are going to stay in and have a special dinner. Or so I am told. I did pick the bf up a card before money started to get really tight again and I am glad I did. I stuffed that little sucker with all sorts of confetti and had him open it after I left for work this morning. 

While I am sort of hoping that eventually we will get to have a traditional valentines day, I know that it probably will not happen. Ç'est la vie. Right?

On a completely unrelated topic I am going to be in florida with my family in less than a week for my race, and upon finding out my bib# I am not the happiest camper. I sent in my proof of time thinking it would put me ahead of my Mother in the corrals so that I wouldn't have to worry about holding her back. And what happens, my number is further back than hers and she didn't even of her proof of time, WTH? Yea not happy. 

Oh well what can you do but finish the race and laugh later right. 

What are your plans for Valentine's Day? I need ideas for next year.
