So lately I have been trying
to be more organized in all aspects of my life in general, and I noticed that I
still have a pretty random thought process about when and how I post on this
blog. I know that many bloggers have
this thing called a “Blog Notebook” that they put their post ideas into and
such. And some I have even found online have planners and agendas for the
express purpose of blogging. Now this concept of planning out my life has been toying
about in my brain for a good couple of months. I think it has something to do
with graduating from college last summer and not really having a legitimately
organized schedule any more. It is something that I had been missing, which is
why I got my personal sized Filofax Dakota planner last this past March. I love
this size and it fits right into my purse, the only issue is it does not offer
much room to write in each day within the week on two pages layout.
But that is a post for
another day, fast forward to last month when I really started trying to post
here on a regular basis, and forgetting the posts that I wanted to write due to
my day job and running schedule. Anyway this was the logic behind the purchase
of this lovely little notebook that I could jot some post ideas or whole posts
into and still be able to tuck it into my purse (or security brick as my bf
calls it).
The top is a big Buddha bag I got from little black bag some time ago, and the blue one is a bag I got from justfab.com last year. I started using the blue one a couple weeks ago cause I needed more room in my purse and the black one was getting to be too full.
please don’t mind the mess within the purse
that is another issue entirely, as I am currently switching into a smaller cross body bag. Anyway I am finding that this method isn’t
really allowing me to schedule time when I can actually write the posts here
either.

This brought me to Pintrest,
don’t judge, for something that would be able to house my day planner/agenda
and my blog notebook. Within the realm of Pintrest my poor little mind was
blown, there were so many different options. At this point I had to ask myself
if I wanted to print my new planner myself or have it be delivered to me
printed. I was leaning more toward printing myself since I hadn’t decided on a
place to house my new planner/notebook just yet and I would be able to print in
any size I wished. This only narrowed the options slightly.
The next issue was would I
want to pay for the printables or find free versions. While I have found merits
to both options, and like several that I would pay for I just do not have it in
my budget at the moment. So free it is until after the New Year begins, then I
have one or two that I have too choose from after that point. The main one
being from Raine over at Lime Tree Fruits, I have been following her blog for
the last couple of months and absolutely adore her work. So when her 2014 calendar came out I wanted to snatch them up on the spot, but we do not have a
power cord for our printer at the moment, and while I was originally writing up
this post yahoo mail was having some serious issues with their system. so i hope to have the new power cord ordered within the next week or so to have it here by the first week of the new year.
Anyway my goal is to have
this whole blogging planner set up for use by the beginning of January if not
sooner, wish me luck. And as always Luv ya all!
What do you all think of blogging planners/notebooks,
would they be a help or a hindrance in the long run? Any ideas on the subject
would be appreciated.
