Good news.

So I officially got a job offer and accepted it on Tuesday this week and then on Thursday night I emailed my letter of resignation to my former employers. email was only used on my part because there was no management working Wednesday or Thursday when I was going to hand in my letter and talk with my boss face to face about it. (Super professional right) not that I am really all that surprised. So like I said I had to email my letter of resignation to her, and what does the other manager do but read the email out loud to the rest of the staff. So effed up. But oh well if that is how they want to treat the employees who show them enough respect to give them any kind of notice then that is fine. Now I just have to wait and see if they try to dock my pay again. 

But on to the newjob, was supposed to do my new hire paperwork on Friday but that got pushed back to Monday as thier computer system was down and we were unable to get to the correct pages on the stores Website. Hopefully I will start training on Monday as well so that next week or sooner I can start my manager training as well. Yup that's right I got a job as an assistant manager at a store chain I used to work for out in colorado. I really hope I like it still. The only issue is that I will have to go shopping for shoes and clothes in the next couple weeks as it is a totally different dress code than I am used to. Well that is all of my professional happy news. 

On the workout side, in the last month I broke the 7 mi wall in running and am well on my way with my training. If only I had the motivation to run the whole time instead of walking a majority of it. It really shouldn't have taken me 2hrs to run 7 mi. When it usually only takes about 1.25 hrs to run 6 miles. Oh well it was a hot day. Or maybe it was cold I don't really remember that far back. But anyway yesterday I ran 6.05 mi and did some light exercises inside as well. I only need to run another 4.4 miles to break 40mi this month. I might try to do another 6 today. But we shall see. Next months goal is to run more than 50 miles in the month. Fingers crossed I can do it. 

In the last couple weeks I have also gotten a couple of penpals, one who lives relatively close to me (unintentional) and one in Australia. It's been kinda fun getting to know them and such. But I've only really gotten to kinda know the one here the other one I sent the first letter to I think a week or so ago. But haven't gotten anything back yet. I am still hopeful though. I have also started planning out my days a little bit more than normal. It's keeping me on track better and I am finding more time to go for my runs. Now I just need to find time to knit crochet and quilt. (Need to find money to do these things too but that is neither here jor there) anyway, crochet wise I am just about done with my second doll started and finished since moving out here. I think it will become a bunny. Anyway that is all I have to say. Until next time. Hopefully soon as I should have Internet in the next week.
