So things have been kinda crazy for me in the last couple days; the roommate from hell moved out, Japanese midterm study guide was posted, evil group presentation issues, and I am going nuts cause I haven't been able to crochet anything for about a week now. don't get me wrong I love to knit but it takes soooo long to make one thing. like the socks I am working on in order to refresh my memory on how to make them, are soo very boring even with the variegated yarn. the yarn itself is in shades from dark brown to beige, and kinda looks like poo. but that would be nothing if it wasn't just a plain Jane sock pattern... which I would really love to have done from the toe up but the class that I am doing this refresher for is basic sock construction from the cuff down sooo boring. not that it really matters as I am not sure if I will be allowed to keep the job beyond the first class on adult knitting basics. I am kinda worried that they may have hired another knitting instructor behind my back. so add that minor stress-er, to midterms over the next couple weeks and the fact that my apartment complex just asked me if I would be willing to move out early it may be a little too much for my wee little brain to handle at the moment. which could feasibly explain the issues with the blackouts I have been having over the last 2-3 days.
anyway I just wanted to say that I will be attempting to post some things tonight, I got new lead for my .3mm pencil today and have been sketching like crazy. I love this drafting pencil it is amazing the amount of detail I can get into the drawings without it even beginning to smudge like it would with a .5 or god forbid a .7-.9mm pencil. I just wish I could afford the micron pens that have similar sizes. but I don't think I could give up using my jellyroll pens either. I am just about done with the scar picture and I have started on the death mask picture, if I could just find a decent picture of the plague masks from the Renaissance era. I really like the look of those bird masks, the classic ones not the steam punk versions of them. nothing against steam punk its just not what I want to draw right now. what can I say I am into the classics lately.
well I really should be studying for my Japanese class today or at the very least getting ready for the midterm tomorrow at 2 pm. it is a 2-4pg exam that terrifies me immensely, and immeasurably for I don't ever do well on them and I really really need to do well on this one. well anyway I will get back to this a little later today when I scan the pictures and such.
