Japanese Quiz 1 today

Today is a a horrible nasty day. Though in my gender in literature class we watched 20 min of the movie "Dangerous Beauty" and now I must watch the rest, damn my innate curiosity, not only that but I kind of want to read the book that it is based on. However right now it is breakfast time and then study time for my first grammar points quiz of the semester. On body parts and analogies. Which I actually understand I think. I will also be retaking my kanji quiz from last week in hopes of getting higher than a 70% on it.

though I do have a question for Barnes and Noble and their Nook books department. How can they really think that it is ok to sell an E-book for more than the print version of that same book online. it makes absolutely no sense to me at all, I mean with the print book you have the paper and the oppertunity to annotate the edition in your hand, however unlike the kindle e-books you cannot do that with the nook. and you also have to shell out a ton of money to get the nook in the first place so one would think that the ebooks for it would be less expensive by comparison, however this is not the case and I am moderately perturbed by this fact. In their minds one needs to be shafted when buying the Nook ereader and shafted again when one buys the books/files themselves for said ereader. meh. gotta love how society always wants to make an extra buck... sorry for that tangent...

now back to your regularly scheduled blog post....
anyways yesterday I got to hang out with my friend Marina and teach her a little bit of the crocheting and what not. we also stopped by the Ramnime meeting, the Anime club on campus. while I do think that it would be a fun place to hang out, unfortunately we just could not get into the first Anime that they were showing. while this could just have been because we started watching it about half way through because we got their a little late. it does not really matter so we left and hung out at my apartment where we could just chill for a little bit.
