Hey ya all, yea I've been bad knowing that I'm on a crazy college budget for things like food, rent, utilities and what not, I did the unthinkable.... I bought a corset.... I know I didn't have a lot of money at the time, and I know that I shouldn't have done it. but it was just too good a deal to pass up a 60 dollar corset for 21 bucks I mean come on who in there right mind would pass that up right??
needless to say I wont be buying any yarn for quite a while because of it, nor any other clothes for that matter.
I think I may just quit while I am ahead on that shawl and just block it to see how the pattern looks , if it looks good then I'll ask my mom for some money and get some lace weight yarn. or I'll be smart and find my Joann's gift card and order some. but needless to say i do have some lace weight yarn in my apartment that i would have to wind-up into a ball but it should look nice. oh yea and it would seem that all my friends are planning their weddings can someone just kill me now please. I find the whole thing dreadful, No i don't begrudge them their happiness its just that's tooo many damned gifts to make or get, I'm really thinking that Dale is going to wait until his wedding for that blanket, cause as much as he protests that he wont be married i sooo think he will be within the next year 18 months at most. its sooo cute he's soo crazy wrapped about this girls little finger. but if it makes him happy more power to em.
on another note my happy ass is going to be visiting my family in the springs this weekend before my dad leaves again for japan, this should be fun.
