hell just after my last post i had to rip Eiffel out again when i noticed that i had dropped a stitch 3inches down from my needles in the lace portion of the ribbing. so i ripped it out to that point and then had to rip it out to the beginning when i noticed another dropped stitch a half inch from the hemline.... grrr that one made me toss the knitting across the room and stomp off defiantly. i came back to it though and promised myself that i would be done with it by the end of the month so that i can actually wear it before it gets to hot here in Colorado. besides i think my friends would get a kick outta it if i wore it to the bars. its just kinda annoying cause with how many times i have had to rip i coulda been atleast 3/4 done witht he body of the sweater and possibly started on the sleeves. i think the next sweater i try and make after this will be another skully from the stitch and bitch books, mostly for a christmas prestent for my cousin/aunt thing, (doesnt know what to call a parents cousin), cause she wanted one when i was making mine and i think i will be able to see her this summer to get her mesurements.
school is kicking my ass, Japanese is still kinda easy for me though i wonder what it will be like next sememster if i get accepted to my school of choice. I'm still kinda irked by the fact that someone in the next class up took my text book last week but hopefully i will be getting it back today. geez i mean the books arent even remotely similar and they left my work book which was sitting on top of it. but i am still going with they took it on accident and will give it back before i have to kill someone.
i love my knitpicks needles the only problem i have with them is the main thing i was worried about happening did happen, i am mildly allergic to nickel and tend to get a rash if i touch something with nickel in it for extended periods of time, and i am begining to get one but not on my palms or the tips of my fingers its on my knuckle where i usually hold the left needle in my hand. its not as bad as if i were wearing a watch so i dont think its anything i need to worry about.
